Police Visit on PhotoPeach
To keep all children feeling happy and safe we have all agreed to follow the rules that we compiled. They are:
*Use good listening
*Walk in the classroom
*Put hand up
*Use good manners
*Respect others
*Take care of equipment
Our class collected 50 pairs of shoes in the appeal by our school for shoes fro Africa through the Soles 4 Souls appeal
50 pairs of shoes means we had 100 shoes!
We tied the shoes into their pairs before we took them out to the Coma with all the other shoes that had been collected from our school.
We hope that our donation of shoes will make a big difference to the children in Africa who suffer because they do not have shoes.
On Monday Policewoman Chloe visited our school. She talked to us about “stranger danger” and told us how to keep safe if a stranger talked to us or asked us to go with them. We learnt that a stranger is anyone that we don’t know. If this happens to you need to run back to school or to a safety house and scream loudly. She told us what to do if we got lost in the shopping centre, at the beach or at the Royal Show. Look for a police officer, an ambulance person, a life guard or a shop assistant and tell them you are lost. They will help you find your parents. Chloe also showed us some of the equipment she carries on her belt. We got see and hear the police car. It was fun meeting Chloe and she promised to visit us again soon.
