Mother’s Day

Room 2 children hope all their mums have a very happy Mother’s Day.
We hope you like reading the poems we have written about you.
We know you will enjoy eating the surprises in the special jewellery box we made for you!

Guess Who? on PhotoPeach
I used a paper plate to make this face. It has a big green mouth, a blue nose, two pink eyes and lots of hair.
PLEASE listen to our recounts of the fun things we did in the holidays.
We would really appreciate your comments – written or voiced
as we have all worked really hard to produce this post and we
would love some feed-back!
Perhaps you could share what you did in the holidays with us.
We made these creative submarines and divers to travel under the sea.
First we drew designs of our vessels or divers.
Next we found the materials we would need.
We glued rectangular prisms, cones and cylinders together using strong glue and masking tape.
We then had to cover the whole creation with white paper. This step made the model very strong and also gave a good surface to paint.
Finally we painted our vessels and divers and added the finishing touches.
In Term 4 we will be using our submarines and deep sea divers to go DEEP, DEEP into the abyss and travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
We can’t wait for this adventure to begin!
What do you think we will see and hear?

Thank you to the Caelan from Mr Mac’s class for taking the video of the performance.
