Our Goodbye Iceblocks
After we had packed up the room ready for the holidays we had a delicious iceblock to celebrate the last day of school for 2011 and our FANTASTIC year in Room 2.

Room 2 Christmas Party
Today we had our Christmas party. We set up our party in the wet area outside our room.
There were colourful Christmas cloths, tinsel and coloured baubles to decorate the tables.
We had a Christmas tree and Christmas music too. Everyone made a special Christmas party hat. They looked SPECTACULAR!
Petria’s mum and nanna and Saxon’s mum helped to set out the food on the table. We all had a plate.
First we ate the savoury food which the girls had brought and then we had the sweet food, brought by the boys.
We had lots to eat and there was some food left over which we had for afternoon tea. Judi bought some lemonade for us to drink.
It was a fun party and a great way to finish the year in Room 2.
Shoes for Africa.
Our class collected 50 pairs of shoes in the appeal by our school for shoes fro Africa through the Soles 4 Souls appeal
50 pairs of shoes means we had 100 shoes!
We tied the shoes into their pairs before we took them out to the Coma with all the other shoes that had been collected from our school.
We hope that our donation of shoes will make a big difference to the children in Africa who suffer because they do not have shoes.
